Stir-Fried Dulse and Kale
Peppery Dulse and Kale with some sweet raisins is a lively combination to serve with grilled or fried fish dishes.
15g dried dulse
1-2 tablespoons oil
1-2 tablespoons raisins, soaked in water
Seaweed condiment – optional or freshly ground black pepper
Chop up the dulse finely. Put into a bowl and cover with cold water. Leave for 5 minutes till it softens and drain. Wash kale. Remove thick stalks and whizz in food processor till fairly fine. Or chop finely. Heat oil in a wok and stir-fry with the dulse for a few minutes till the kale softens. Drain raisins and stir through the kale. Serve with seaweed condiment or black pepper.
